The 2008 Scholarship Recipients.....
Corell D. McGee
An excerpt from Corell's essay reads...."I am honored to be the fifth in my family to earn a high school diploma from William Henry Lanier High School. My mother(aunt)Rose is a member of the Class of 1972, my mother (our beloved classmate) Deborah Ann McGee was a member of the Class of 1982, my uncle Alton McGee is a member of the Class of 1984, and my brother Chris a starting player for our State Champions Basketball team is a member of the Class of 2004..."
&
Paris D. Randle

Paris states in his essay...:"In the past four years that I have attended Lanier High School, I can truly say that my life has been changed forever. In the ninth grade I was another mundane student, but now that I am a senior, I am truly a BULLDOG. The teachers and staff at Lanier have molded me into a better person, a better student, and an individual more focused on future goals."
Congratulations Corell and Paris! We are truly honored to have both of you receive scholarships and to represent our school so proudly !
Note: Thank you to all those who contributed towards our scholarship fund. Please hold all Class of 1982 contributions until further notice.
