Her father, Alexander Martin, died Thursday and his funeral will be Tuesday, August 12th at 11 am at New Hope on Watkins Drive. Westhaven Funeral Home is where you can view the body. All those who can attend, call her, or better yet, send up a prayer for Sandra and her family please do so.

Good morning my brothers and sisters in Christ! I hope that email finds you in good spirits and knowing that you are blessed and highly favored. I need your prayers again. First, please pray for Delilah Porter's nephew. He is in CMMC and has some kind of bacteria in his stomach area. He was blessed and fortunate to get to the doctor in time or things could have been a lot worse. Second, please pray for my uncle, James Kelly. He had a stroke and is about to start therapy. And last but not least, please pray for Andre' Johnson and family. They buried their father, Elijah Johnson Sr. on Monday, March 31.

Perry Brittain, retired JPS teacher from Lanier and husband of Marilyn Brittain, retired JPS teacher from Calloway (and currently serving as resource personnel at Calloway and in the JPS Assessment Office), died Wednesday evening. Mr. Brittain was the uncle of Gabrielle Mills, teacher at Murrah, and the brother of Gwendolyn Brittain Mills, teacher at Hardy. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m, Tuesday, April 1st at Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church.

I talked with Andre Johnson today, his spirit seemed to be good and he wanted me to inform everyone of the service for his father. Please keep his family in your prayers. I'm sure he would be glad to see those who can attend the service. Lakeover Memorial Funeral Home is handling the service for Mr. Elijah Johnson, Sr. on Monday, March 31, 2008, at 11:00 am at the Pearl Street AME Church 2519 Robinson Road at the corner of Robinson Rd. and Ellis Ave. Dre will be in town tomorrow.

Her mother apparently had a stroke and she is not responding. We need to pray for God’s healing power, but if He chooses not to heal, that His mercy and love will be with her and the family. I want to thank everyone for praying fervently for my speedy recovery. God does indeed answer prayer. I will begin managing the website again on Monday, October 22, 2007. It saddens me to have to announce that classmate Vince Gorden's mother - Queen Gorden, passed away a few days ago. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Please be of encouragement and pray prayers of comfort and consolation during this time.
Additional Note: His mother’s funeral will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 11 am at Progressive Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi. The body is at Peoples Funeral Home. His mother’s name is Queen Gordon.

I am not sure what is wrong but he text message me on Sunday and said that he was in the hospital. He wasn’t in a room at the time. Good Afternoon Fellow Prayer Warriors,
Just an update and a request that you continue lifting my mother, Mildred Inez, in your prayers.
Mother is still in the Intensive Care Unit at CMMC. There are good progressive days and there are days where her illness remains stable. She is still having dialysis on M-W-F, even with the dialysis she has fluid build up and now she needs to have a chest tube inserted to remove the fluid but on Friday she was not strong enough for the surgical procedure. Please pray for her endurance of this procedure, the removal of fluid would help wing her from the respirator. "One Day At A Time"
Continue to pray for God's healing of our mother and continued strength of her family...

Good Morning Everyone,
I am so grateful for the prayers from everyone! Thank you for keeping me uplifted before our great and mighty God, through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Words cannot express the level of confidence and strength given by all of your continuous, fervent prayers. I had no idea that so many people cared about me! Even those that have not even met me have been calling, emailing me and placing me on their prayer list. I have had friends to come by to visit me and to pray for me personally.The pastors at my church laid hands on me to pray for healing from the Lord. All I can say is that God is so good! I had my CT Scan early yesterday morning and one of my doctors called me late last night to tell me that the results were good news and that the cancer has not spread! I will meet with the oncologist(cancer doctor) this morning to discuss my situation. I am not afraid of facing tomorrow because I am being carried by all of your prayers. Please continue to pray for me and I will keep everyone updated.

1) Dyna Manogin still request our prayers for her mother who is still in the hospital, CMMC.
2) Vince Gordon is requesting prayer for his mom, Mrs. Queen Gordon. She has cancer. Let's make sure that we stand in the gap for her and the family.
3) Tara ( Wilson ) Evans just had a minor procedure and is doing well. Please continue to uplift her before the Lord, she will receive the results from her testing next week. Let's pray that the results are good news and that she does not require extensive surgery.
4) I am requesting prayer for the Robinson family. Lauren Robinson used to work at Wells Fargo Financial with me a couple of years ago. She was killed this past Friday morning in Baton Rogue, LA by her fiancé’.

Good morning all. I want to first thank God for allowing my wife to go through the outpatient surgery without any complications or problems. We arrived at the hospital at 6 am and was released by lunch time. She is moving around well and he developing an apetite. We are truly thank to God for her recovery. Please continue to pray for us. 1. A church member’s mother, Dorothy Coleman’s mom, had surgery yesterday. She is doing fine.
2. Another church member, Cynthia Monroe, had surgery yesterday and is a little sore but is doing fine. She maybe release today.
3. A co-worker’s aunt died this morning and his mother has been sickly as well.

I have some wonderfully blessed information concerning Mother Lewis. She was released from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. She has completed mobility of all of her limbs, and she is so thankful for how God work on her through this ordeal. Please continue to keep the Lewis’ in your prayers.

Good evening everyone. The Lanier Class of '82 family needs your prayers for Jimmy and Darlene Black. Their home and everything that was in it including the automobiles was destroyed by fire tonight. I know that we will definitely pray for them, but if anyone can give a helping hand in anyway that you can please do so. I did talk to Darlene for a moment tonight, and she said that no one got hurt. But they lost everything, so I know that they are hurting inside. They are thankful and blessed that no one was hurt during the fire.

. 1--Sister Elizabeth Patterson, Reverend Larry and Sister Jewel Patterson's mother, had a heart attack this weekend and had surgery Monday. She is at home resting,praise God. 2--Reverend Eric Brown's mother has been diagnosed with cancer. Please keep her and the family in prayer. 3--Mother Hanford was rushed to the hospital yesterday with 108 degrees fever. She is in the St Dominic hospital. 4--Little Sister Ashanti Mayberry has been diagnosed with diabetes and is in the University hospital. She is a teenager. 5--Brother Bobby Funches brother died yesterday. Please keep him and his family in prayer because he has lost a couple of family members in the past couple of years. 6--Little Brother Alexander Hunt and family need our prayers. He was in an accident and broke is collar bone. We all need prayer because the adversary is mad, jealous and mad because of what God is about to do for the Saints. Be blessed and be a blessing.
